Receptionists

The surgery currently employs 7 reception staff. The receptionists are key members of the surgery team and are usually the first point of contact that patients have with the surgery. All members undergo a structured induction and training programme before being allowed to work at the reception desk.

It is often perceived by patients that these staff members are obstructive and generally unhelpful. Please remember that they are usually only following guidelines formulated by the partners of the practice and that they have a very difficult job to perform.  

If you have cause to complain about a receptionist we would ask you to do so in writing to the practice manager, who will investigate it fairly and thoroughly.

The practice will not tolerate rude or aggressive behaviour towards any off its staff members.
