Dr Bilquis Agha
Dr B Agha is the senior partner in the practice. She has been practising for over 20 years after completeing her training in hospital medicine.
Her primary interests are in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and she looks after the antenatal and postnatal patients. She is trained in female contraception and IUD (coil) insertion. She also does cervical smears.
Dr H Siddique
Having completed his GP training he joined the practice initially as a locum and subsequently became a partner. During his training he attained his general practice postgraduation, the MRCGP (Member of The Royal College of General Practitioners). He is responsible for teaching visiting undergraduate medical students and the GP trainer for GP Registrars.
He has particular interests in Asthma, Primary Care IT and Acupuncture. In his free time he is an active member of St John Ambulance, for the Hadleigh and Benfleet division.
Dr C Odina (aka Dr Martin)
Dr Odina joined our practice in 2008 as a GP Registrar and in 2009 joined the practice as a salaried partner.
He did his undergraduate training in Nigeria and then went on to do his postgraduate training in the UK. In 2010 he completed is postgraduate training to be a certified GP Trainer.
He has extensive experience in general medicine and holds a diploma in geriatric medicine.
He has worked at Southend General Hospital for a number of years so has a good understanding of the local health services.
Dr Odina also leads on our Palliative Care service which he runs with the multi-disciplinary team.
Dr Raji Velmurugan
Dr Velmurugan (we call her Dr Raji for short) joined us in August 2012. She completed her GP training in the local training scheme.
